I agree with Robert about changing the caps (I am doing the same in my Marantzes, because I have seen too many caps failing), but of course, I also understand Armins point of view.
It's just a feeling, I am no technician and I cannot judge it. But I did not regret having the caps changed so far.

Cleaning sprays are used by many, but the best way is to take them apart

some will say it is clean


but not so

I had the same troble with my SONY-stuff. Look at the pics as a motivation to do the job carefully

Hi Jan...tnx for asking,preamp was finished 1-2 weeks ago (don't remeber)...and I'm very short with time last days ...I hope it will be much better soon.
