Quite accidentally I saw an ad for that little tuner.Actually,I never looked for these kind of tuner.
...from the first owner,decent condition...OK,why not



Some cut-off in both channels...solved by cleaning those switches on back panel

and ...recaping time
(some of you should close their eyes )

first I did audio pcb


then mpx board


now,stereo lamp is not acting like VU-meter anymore

and....done
I am very satisfied, works like a charm

Robert : very nice little Sansui Tuner - Robert ! Wonderful tuning scale - years ago I bought a AU-555 in Holland - I tried to get a tuner like yours - but no chance to get one

I would have those 2sc458's replaced when you are at that board. . . I dont know specific in Sansui, but they always fail in all other units more or less. They cause terrible noises etc. I think they get somehow leaky with the time.

As someone wrote at AK,I'm getting better and better at capturing the graininess
I have several very good camera at home,but I have neither the will nor the time to learn how to make a better pictures ...heeeelp me Rainer...yours all are excelent

In fact, the tuner is on for several weeks,24/7 .... is a good combination with AU-607mrx...not as sensitive as TU-9900 ,but vocals sounds just great

Robert, do you have what new in HiFi "Geraffel"?

...otherwise,nothing new on Sansui field ...unfortunately

-Speakers SP-100i I promised you, are still in my basement....waiting for Winter time

-A few weeks ago I missed one minty BA-3000 from USA (I couldn't organize my connection in Florida)

and that is all
