In english: If I understand you right, vasquez, you tried to apply the code from the 1064 to the 1063 without success.
In my experience, picking the two firmware ICs from a 1064 and inserting them into a 1063, the latter gains the RTA function without the requirement of a code.

Yes in short that's what I want to do. Clone the chips that store the serial number so they can match and apply the same code. The code is dependent on the serial number, so the one that I have doesn't work for the 1063. The problem is I don't know on which chip this serial number is stored... Thanks
If you clone the firmware from a 1064, you will not need a code. Just insert the ICs into the 1063. Originally, it was „gasmann“s idea to try this, we did it together, and it worked.  The firmware ICs are not dependent on a serial number, obviously.  Changing the firmware may be the hardware update to 1064,  mentioned by RTW. Only the software update needed the code, as far as I understand it.

I've swapped the MC and EEPROM chips between them and the RTA option is still locked on the 1063. The serial number has not changed it's stored somewhere else on the board, I'm running out of ideas. I've dumped the EEPROM contents if anyone is interested. Opening with a hex editor I see lots of ascii strings regarding menu settings, switches and so on, but no serial number stored on it.
Hello everyone!
I'm searching for an RTA code for my RTW Porta Monitor 1061 Plus.
Is it possible to get one or are there any other workarounds?

I have two 1061 Plus without RTA enabled.

Thank you very much in advance!
To my knowledge, there is no source for the activation code. The only „workaround“ would be to insert the two eproms from a 1064 type. But it seems that even this is not always successful.

Yes, I did that, that was first to try.
They told me that these good old things are all obsolete long time ago, so no support at all. Even for money.
This is a dead end.

If I'll have a solution will post it here too!

Thank you all who responded!
