JVC AX-Z911

Moin allerseits,

von mir nun ein Bericht von der Überholung des JVC AX-Z911 Amps hier aus dem Forum. Nochmals Danke an Martin aka Jagcat.

Erst einmal angeschlossen...spielt wunderbar. Ab und zu rauscht es etwas in einen Kanal und die Anzeige ist etwas dunkel. Also erst einmal aufgeschraubt:



Aha...ein paar Birnchen leuchten nicht...und ein paar fehlen gänzlich. Oder sind das schwarze Lichtleiter Kabel ? Nee Scheeerz...



In einer Birnchenfassung steckte dann noch sowatt...ähm...(die LED ist gemeint, das andere ist der zerdrückte Kondi)



Dann weiter Sichtprüfung...und dabei fiel mir dieser etwas zerdrückte Kondi auf.



Erstaunlich...absolut korrekte Werte trotz des Zustandes. Können schon einiges ab diese Teile... Trotzdem ausgetauscht.

Dann weiter Sichtprüfung..dabei sind mir diese Lötstellen aufgefallen:





Die hatten sich wohl selbst ausgelötet...also nachgelötet.

Bis auf Staub konnte ich sonst nix mehr entdecken.. also dann erstmal Lämpchen ausgetauscht. Hier ist wieder alles am Platz.



Dann was rein optisches: die Bodenplatte sah etwas angelaufen aus....einmal mit feinen Schleifpapier (320er) sowie Stahlwolle drüber, dann entfetten und hinterher mit matten Felgensilber lackiert.

Das war es dann auch schon, Probelauf...alles funzte.... nochmal Messgerät dran und abgeglichen..fertig.

Außer ein paar Lämpchen und 2 Kondis nix ausgetauscht. Und eben die Lötstellen. Dank an Martin aka Jagcat, ein sehr schönes Gerät.

Ein sehr schönes Gerät mit mächtig Dampf. Löppt wunderbar an meinen RFT BR 25. Und zudem: Wohnzimmer wird mollig warm. Ist ein Class A Amp.

Viel Spaß mit dem Brocken ! Bei dem super Angebot hatte ich schon weiche Knie bekommen aber war froh, dass sich ein Käufer fand

Klasse, Michael... freut mich sehr, das der Aufwand sich so schlank gestaltete. Bei der nächsten Gelegenheit darfst du den AX-Z711 mitnehmen und auch 1x durchsehen, damit ich weiterhin ein gutes Gefühl habe beim Hören. In meinen Holzohren klangen die beiden Brüder absolut identisch, die angegebene Wattleistung ist es auch. Nur das der 711 10kg auf die Waage bringt und der 911 20kg !!

hi I am new to this form but need some help I am repairing a JVC AX-Z911 1989 the year of manufacture

I need some photographs of all wiring, on the underside of this unit. all connections to the two, main capacitors and also the wire's going to the main amplifier stage if somebody can help it would be a great help to me, also if anybody knows this unit reasonably well the other problem I have none of the LEDs will light on this unit for some reason normally when you switch the unit on for the very first time the light will flash, to cheque if is working correctly I think the Leds are controlled by one of the chips on the front panel of this unit if somebody can shed some light on this for me it would be a great help too if this needs to be translated to German, I will try to translate it for you, Many thanks mark

this is some of the photographs so far. In the repair I have recapped nearly all of the caps that needed replacing. but just need some photos of the underneath to where the wires connect, to the main smoothing capacitors

JVC AX-Z911 1989 and need photographs of the underneath of this unit to see where the WIRES connect to the main capacitors

hi. Thank you for getting back to me, can you ask all your friends if they know, if there's any photos of this unit I need the wiring connexions to where the wires go onto the main smoothing capacitors slowly I will get to know how to use this site properly it's new to me, but I will get there in the end, but if there's anything I can help anyone else with, I would love to help. Our writing here will „wake up“ all the members with interests in fixing JVC AX amps.
So there is nothing to do as wait for some feedback.
Unfortunately JVC are not the #1 Modells in our forum.

I don't know much about JVC equipment. If you have any questions about the wiring, I'd recommend consulting the manual

The section you photographed is shown there in detail. 

A nice amplifier, certainly the luxury model in its day. Unfortunately, the power amplifier uses its own module for quiescent current compensation.

As nice2hear noted, this device wasn’t very widespread in Germany.
