Tatsächlich handelt es sich bei dem HPR-200 um einen seehr frühen Preceiver, welcher als Selbstbau-Kit    für damals 7.100 ¥ angeboten wurde - nach heutiger Kaufkraft in etwa einige hundert Euro.

Die Röhren waren im Set nicht(!) enthalten.

Die verschiedenen Preceiver konnten dann mit verschiedenen Endstufen kombiniert werden.

Ich finde den HPR-200 in zwei Katalogen - jeweils in dem damals noch etwas stiefmütterlich nach dem Transformatorenteil angefügten HiFi-Teil der Kataloge.

Mal schauen, vielleicht schaffe ich es, die Kataloge nächste Woche im Büro auf den HiRes-Scanner zu legen, ist mir heute am Wochenende auf dem Flachbett etwas zu mühsam - destowegen hier nur als Beispiel eine Seite:

Hello guys , long time no see.
This is a set of photos of the Behringer dcx 2496 pro active cross over that replaces my good old SANSUI CD 10 .
Along is the newer set of speakers that i have made , and not informed you .

Thanx for your confirmation. I know Andreas, nick akool1 has still 2 of this Sansui TUs. Rainer, Oldsansui from North Germany wasn't online for some months, so I'm not sure about his 9900 duo.

CD 10 is a beautiful channel divider ,as SANSUI is pleased to call it, but it can not hide it's age ,and some design flaws just because of the time it was conceived.
CD 10 lacks dynamics , a hell actually . It is lifeliess , and flat . No dynamics no punch , no speed , no attack.
This happens because it does not have a differential stage at the input , to combat and outperform the negative feedback circuit and its ascociated problems.
Negative feedback is good but it has to be compensated for by the differential , or diamond differential even better.
No diff in the input , sound goes lifeless and flat , everything is flattened and grounded like a bulldozer has been run over it .
On the other hand there was no other old , but good example from SANSUI or some other manufacturer from that era with a diff on it.
My friend and head engineer on the Sansui service , was whining all the time about that. He stated that this system is doomed just because of the cd 10.
So i had to do something. I borowed a Rane analog active cross over and tried it out. The differences were more than enough and justified the change.
Another week to scan what products were available , and finally i ended up buying the dcx 2496 pro .
It does many more procecesses than the cd 10.
You can set any kind of cros you want , like BESSEL, BUTTERWORTH ,LINKWITZ RILLEY ,and any kind of slope for each one indepedently , from 6db/oct to 48db/oct , for each crossing point . It straightens out the polarity variable ,from 30 degrees up to 345 degrees , it measures and time alligns the drivers , which is a very helpfull function to make all three drivers sound as one. It does equalizing in any any frequency , on any driver , with any Q you like .
It does many things , it can even accept AES EBU Digitall signal , from one of the three inputs. On one of the others it accepts a microphone to time allighn the drivers.
Overall it's the best 256e i have ever spent , for this system .
I'm very happy with it and i do enjoy it every day , more and more . Not to mention the endless possibilities of playing with different settings.
Any way these are the facts.
Now as far as the speakers , i don't remember if i ever showed them here , they are the newest version , they are three ways , with two tweeters , mid , 2 15" woofers one active and one passive , as passive radiator. Still searching for a proper JBL to make it a proper pass radiator.
I was going to paint them during summer , but the fires in the greater and local area never let me have the time to do it.
Ok next summer i will do it.

Actually on the first photo dcx 2496 is showing the ammount of delay it applies on the channel 5 , which is HI LEFT .
Short 934mm, hence 2,68 ms .
Something similar but less it applies to the mid.
And of course no delay applied to the woofer.

As far as the drivers of the speaker , they are the same , sans the JBL midbass 2118h , i was using on the previous version , which of course now is absent.
The 15L70 CORAL woofer , modified , with a JBL patend called a shorting copper ring is fully capable of playing those midbass frequencies and even more. Less is more , in this case.
One other Difference in this version is the two CORAL HD-3 TWEETERS in each speaker . Reason was , we wanted to have those ultra rare special tweeters to work as little as possible . Just because they use the same ribbon winding wire which is alluminum copper plated ribbon wire , all the way out to the speaker post , so the minimum ammount of flex should be applied to it. So we used two of them , so they play really low , they are 100db each .
Mid frequencies are played by the magnificent CORAL MD-9 hard dome 4" squawcker which is also another 98db unit . MD-9 is only found on the CORAL DX-ELEVEN speaker system.
