I am not a DAT "collector" like some of you guys here, but I think that PCM-7050 deserves the best option available. I do not want to solve the same problem in the future and I am not a fan of 3D printed parts anyway, although they can be sometimes good. I am happy that Axel have some spare parts left and was willing to sell them. Pity that he does not have loading gears anymore.
Collecting DAT recorders is an expensive hobby (like all vintage HiFi electronics) these days. I am glad that I have bought most of my units (Pro audio) during the last 30+ years. Now its time to overhaul them, so no need to buy another units, because time is ticking and free space left.
