WEGA 42V – Relais zieht nicht an

Klappt das denn in diesem Fall?
Ich hatte schon Wirewrap-Pfosten, die saßen bombenfest in der Platine...

In diesem Fall würde ich dann bevorzugen, die Drahtspirale abzuwickeln und später zu einer einfachen Schlaufe verkürzt herumzulegen + zu verlöten.

Dürfte klappen, die Lötstellen sehen praktikabel aus. Zu mal ich nur 5 Lötstellen trennen muss um die Vorstufe/EQ vom Netzteil zu trennen.
Werde aber wohl erst nächste Woche weiter machen können...

I am currently in the process of fixing a Wega 42V amplifier with the same symptoms as yours had - the relay would not engage at the beginning.

Following your thread, I managed to make it sing again after replacing all 120 ohm resistors fuse Especially R509 and Q201 transistor on the preamplifier power supply, but I got stuck on the same problem with the quiescent current. I get ~ 8mV on left and ~ 2mv on right.

I wanted to ask you, did you manage in the end to fix this problem? And if yes, what what the solution applied?

Welcome to our board!
I solved the mentioned problem by replacing the complete PCB, since I got my hands on a spare amp with different faults. I think the reason for the weird idle current problem have been drifting resistors , but I am not hundred percent sure, because I somewhere created a short while working on the PCB. Since I found another dead spare amp, I just solved the problem by swapping the PCB.

Did you already check the values of R414, R415, R420, R421, R464, R465, R470, R471? I would recommend checking them first. They might be the reason.

I hope it helps and feel free to keep us posted about your progress. I am very interested in your repair! The first WEGA was actually a gift for my sister and I somehow managed to get my hands on a third amp for myself. Its also not working, yet...
