I just 'accidently' bought a 5500 which I've rarely ever seen before and thought was hard to get ...and knew that it will take some time to get back on the road - and then on Sunday/two days later I stumbled upon a G-22000.. which I couldn't leave in that Munich basement in that suburb! YAY! YAY!!!

Nice ,now you will have to restore it. Not bad. It's a beautifull receiver.
If you have any serious radio stations in your area you'll find out what serious fm sound is like.
Unfortunately in my area , they all play mp3 most of the time. So a serious tuner receiver gets no use.
There are a couple of tu-x1's on egay.de , at high prices , i would consider buing but as i said will get very little use.
Actually G22000 and TU-X1 share the same basic front end.

Ps, G22K will need some work to get it back on track and on specs.

And: yeah - I'll take my time for the restoration of the 5500 and G22K, both units are supposed to stay with me for a looong time - thank god we have some specialists here to take care of that, I am lost when it comes to soldering tin. Btw: FM is pretty good here in Germany, still Webradio is OK with me... otherwise I'll just use it as an 'amp with a lamp'.

Leider ist das Deck nur Deko, weil es im Gegensatz zur Artikelbeschreibung nicht in einem funktionsfähigem Zustand ist

Mal schauen wie ich mich mit dem Verkäufer einigen kann... immerhin habe ich jetzt die passenden Griffe für ein potentiell besseres Deck

Yes i got it. A bit pooorer condition than what i thought but generally ok. All 4 feet are missing , along with the small counterweight in the side for lateral balance, and the original headshell too.
Lets hope that someone can sell me the things that are missing.
Actually i have attached 4 feet from sl 1200 , with a adaptor screw so this problem is solved, for now. But i still am looking for the original headshell , and the little counterweight L shaped for lateral balance.
Then i will think about repaint it. First i have to make it perfect.
It's playing awsome , with the borowed hedshell and denon dl 304.
Actually i think better than sr 838.
It is a black beauty after all.

Tom, immer wieder schön anzusehen die Uhr.

In der Bucht habe ich sie aber noch nicht entdeckt, kann aber sien, dass ich nicht richtig suche dazu.

Habe auch genug Uhren, bin im Moment anyway auf Digital....
