YEP! Der gehört zum MIDI-System M 900 und ist wenigstens so "hutnass" wie der SX-1130!

Mahlzeit,
nachdem ich mich in den letzten Wochen von einigen Geräten getrennt habe musste natürlich etwas neues her. Mein erster Sansui Verstärker war ein AU-X 501. Es ist mir schon klar, dass das kein echter Klassiker ist aber 25 Jahre hat er auch schon auf dem Buckel. Klanglich gefiel er mir so gut, dass noch ein AU-G90x, D907F, AU-717 und ein AU-G55x folgten. Zwischenzeitlich hatte ich auch noch einen AU-D7 und einen AU-519 da. Mittlerweile hatte ich auf der Suche nach passenden Mitspielern für den AU-X 501 ein DX-701 und einen CD-X701 sowie den TU-X 501 gefunden. Da tauchte das untere Gerät auf:




Jetzt ist nur noch der TU-X501 aus der 5er Serie. Wenn mir noch ein günstiger TU-X701 über den Weg läuft tausche ich ihn auch noch aus.

Vielleicht kann sich noch der ein oder andere an meinen D907F 100Volt Verstärker erinnern welcher im desolaten Zustand bei mir ankam. Nach einer Reparatur im Fachbetrieb spielte er schön auf aber optisch ist er eine ziemliche Katastrophe und mir fehlt die Zeit und die handwerklichen Mittel daran etwas zu ändern. Als Ersatz habe ich mir diesen gekauft:





Optisch auch nicht einwandfrei aber akzeptabel. Er ist zwar eine Nummer kleiner als der D907F, spielt aber trotzdem schön auf.
Falls jemand aus dem Forum Interesse an dem D907F zwecks Restaurierung haben sollte kann er mir schreiben. Ansonsten werde ich ihn in der Bucht anbieten.

Contenance, altough we could do it , we chosed to left the old lettering.
He First sanded it , except lettering, and applyed 2 coats of varnish. Then resand at his descretion , all the way he wanted , after tha lettering was covered with Car varnish. Then again sanded with finer and finer sand Paper, varnish with High gloss , again sanding with finer , and then again finer higher gloss varnish. At the end after final assembly , hand polished again with a Special wax. Which by the way i'm going to use to Polish sr 838 too.
The guy had the 929 for a month a half , and painted the Metal susrfaces of the platter and the sourounding alluminum frame that houses the platter the Motor and all the stuff.
I've fitted 4 techics sl 1200 feet , , recalibrated tone arm with a friend , exchanged the rca's with NEW gold plated , and fitted the headshell with a denon dl 304 , on loan from the 838.Now i have to find the lateral counterweight and the sub weight for the main counterweight.


And no i'm not afraid to wipe it. I have full instructions on how to do it, without having the spiders Web on the gloss.

Do you or someone you know have access to a lathe? Some of us might have the same table and could take the measures for you.

Edit: I just looked up our forum turntable list and one of our members owns the same table. Getting the measures should not be a problem

Thanks for your concern , i do have acces to lathe, but he can't make it , cause of the very small diameter of the stem. 1,9MM hence the problem.The counterweight cylinder itself is easy and ha made it, but the stem is tiny enough for his stem to grab it and to machinise it.
If there is away , i can email all the measurments for the lateral , have them precisely.

Hätt´ ich den nicht schon selber, so täte ich ihn zu diesem Kurs trotz Porto & Zoll schnitzblappen:

...und hätte ich schon meine Steuern zurück, hätte ich genau dies bereits getan.


PS: den üblen 5er-CD-Wechsler in der Amateurbucht für 'nen 10er gesehen?

zum CD-3100M:

Ein Traum von Plaste & und Elaste von 1991/92, aber immerhin vierfach Oversampling + doppelte Digitalfilter.

Trozdem wurde 1991/92 die Schere bei Sansui zwischen dem Plastikschrott (wie hier) und dem Luxus-Overkill (Vorstellung des B-2302 in D) schon bedrohlich größer, der Rest war dann auch bald Schweigen

ich riskiere jetzt doch noch mal die Frage, obwohl mir jemand hier sagte, dass man das besser nicht fragt Ich hätte gerne ein BA (Kopie, pdf whatever) von einem Sansui AU alpha 709DR. Erstens wegen ein paar tech. Details und zweitens weil mir ein paar Sachen nicht ganz klar sind. Z.B. was ist mit der Eingangsbezeichnung "Processor" gemeint. Wenn dort z. B. ein EQ eingeschleift werden könnte, müsste doch Ein- und Ausgang da sein...
Es wäre auch interessant zu wissen, ob der symmetrische Eingang hinter der Buchse wieder desymmetriert wird. Also wenn jemand so was hat oder weiß wo im Netz Mann fündig werden kann - wäre toll! Ich habe nix gefunden
