same here... I have no problems with you (or anybody else) writing english here.
And even if there is someone who doesn't understands you.. the only problem I can see would be only on your side: you may not get a answer from this person. If you can live with this.. go on!
Oh.. and welcome on board Robert!
Nice to read You, pepa! Welcome here!

Would't want to repeat the mistakes from the past and from another forum (after several of my posts, one of the moderators sent me a PM and told me to f....off-translated,it is a german forum only
,after that, I politely asked to delet all of my posts and still no answer;unbelievable but is true)

Tnx armin777;last night I was surfing the web and searching some new info about Sansui and I found a great post about
CA-3000 restoration (and many more;including your excellent work too)...and here I am

I don't see why anybody should have a problem with this at all, but I know exactly what you're talking about.. I know more than just one forum with this stupid rule.
So you did the right thing: you asked first if it's ok and that's nice.

me neither...but hey,that's life,and I must admit that I felt as I have a leper,as never in my life.
It is past now and we don't need to mention that any more.It is their shame....
At first glance it seems to me that you are completely different crew and therefore
Look at me,first day at your forum and I've already got 1Thanks
Woow!
New-Wave,again
At first:
WELCOME in this forum Pepa!
Meine Frage an die Anderen! (von einem Unwissenden
)

I don't know if I caused some problems...while setting my forum options I check box with English languague (it is much easier for me,and should not affect anyone's preferences),and for reading of your posts I'm using Google translator,so write just as you prefer.
Hi Robert-
welcome !
I think we're all curious about what's your story about reading a german forum and your history concerning our beloved "Geraffel".
So where are you from and how's your German ? Are you able to understand what's going on here ?
Please note that more often than not it's *quite* colloquial and with a lot of things happening between the lines - up to the level that pretty regularly it gets confusing even for ourselves...
But anyway - even if you're here for the (sometimes stunning) pix only you could have a lot of fun.
Apart from that we're curious about your gear collection (pix pls). And your story in general.
Cheers,
spok
EDIT

There's really no hidden intention behind.
As I explained to Armin (I think) earlier,I found this forum while I searched the web for the fresh Sansui information. As I said, I'm crazy for Sansui..and that is all (believe it or not)
I'm from Croatia,and my German is......don't ask

Mostly...don't you worry about me (Google translator is my best friend
)

OK,thanks for explanation...it is the same on all forums.I'll ask if something is not clear enough.

Yes,you're right, pictures are always the first things you see,and then reading. On this forum there are stunning pictures and text for sure
I have not explored the entire forum yet , but is this the right place for pictures of my equipment and boring audiophile story?

For the story you're in the right spot here.
The place for pix would be here though:
http://old-fidelity-forum.de/thread-233.html
Unless you have specifics, of course...there's threads for ANYTHING one could think of - and then some
!
But don't worry - there's no
"Please stay on topic - thread closed" here. As long as you don't hijack a topic to infiltrate it for sth completely different - like questionable political views or sth - we try to do our best to be a pretty cool bunch of jerks over here.
Cheers,

Hello Pepa,
welcome to the board.
I really like the english addition for us: "The completely different crew!"
Spread it to the world!
I know you are the same guys (my nick name is the same too),but the feeling is different (if you know what I mean)
